Tillman Named Executive Director of Shelbyville HA - Shelbyville Housing Authority

Starting at Shelbyville Housing Authority in 1991, as an inspector of construction work Ron Tillman has stayed with the organization for 29 years. While at SHA he has served as Modernization Coordinator, Modernization Manager, Director of Operations, and Deputy Director.

Tillman's predecessor, Thrasher, officially retired last month, and with SHA board approval, immediately turned the director's chair over to Tillman. Thrasher said recently, "With each promotion, he (Tillman) performed beyond our expectations, while completing his education and earning key certifications as a professional housing executive. I'm excited about all the great things I believe Ron, the staff and the board will accomplish."
