TAHRA Adult Continuing Education Scholarship Application now available
The Tennessee Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (TAHRA) Scholarship Program offers funds to outstanding adults who reside in a public housing authority program (including Section 8 programs). Adult applications are judged primarily on recommendations, resume and personal statement.
Scholarships awards are made without regard to race, creed, religious preferences, sex or any other factor. The TAHRA scholarship program is done in cooperation with the SERC-NAHRO scholarship program.
The scholarship award will be awarded an amount based on number of hours taken as well as other tangible expenses up to $1500 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable each semester contingent upon maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and continued residency in low income housing.
Deadline to apply is April 1, 2014.
