Metropolitan (Nashville) Development & Housing Agency (MDHA) names new Executive Director

Jim Harbison has been named as the new executive director for MDHA. He comes to MDHA from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He ran HUD's Nashville Multifamily Program Center for more than two years, overseeing about 400 apartment complexes with more than 32,000 units and a Section 8 housing program for nearly 21,000 residents. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has master's degrees from Johns Hopkins University and George Washing University. He is married with three grown children.
